I ordered a Careem box, and the driver never delivered my item. After a week of Careem investigating the matter, they decided that they would not issue me a refund or apology because the driver said the item was delivered.

After contacting the store where the item was supposed to be collected from, they said the item was never even collected in the first place. So the driver stole my money and lied about collecting the item. Careem refused to investigate properly and also refused to refund the item. Awful service and dishonest drivers.

For the sake of the 110 AED delivery charge that they refuse to refund, I have canceled my plus membership and will never use them ever again.

This will cost them much more than the delivery fee in the long run. Someone needs to teach them how to look after their customers.

User's recommendation: AVOID! Use Deliveroo, talabat, noon etc. Anyone but Careem.

Monetary Loss: $110.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Careem Cons: Awful service and dishonest drivers.
