Im following up regarding my refund of 124AED (Ticket #12527****). I was informed that the amount was released and an ARN was provided (608553****47).
However, I have not yet received the money in my bank account. I also contacted my bank (Mashreq), and they confirmed the amount has not been credited yet.
Could you please check the status of this refund and confirm when it will be credited to my account?

Booked a car from my house to a friends with a delivery. When the car arrived he insisted that my Careem pay was not used and he demanded the full amount from my friend - even though we showed him the receipt.

Go straight to the bank for a charge back
Driver arrived early, made no attempt to contact me, then left and completed the journey without picking me up.
Careem refused to refund purely because the route was completed, despite clear evidence I wasnt in the car and had to book alternative transport.
To make matters worse, after my complaint was rejected I lost access to my Careem account and could no longer view my booking or complaint history.
This is not professional customer service. Ive deleted the app and wont be using Careem again.

Dear Careem Customer Support,
I have been experiencing ongoing issues with your services since last Wednesday and have contacted your support team multiple times to report and explain the problem, yet it remains unresolved.
Last week, I purchased the School Rides package for AED 1,082. However, each time my daughter selects and uses the School Ride option on the Careem app, the trip charges are incorrectly deducted from my credit card instead of the School Rides balance.
Despite repeatedly raising this issue with your customer service representatives, no resolution has been provided to date. I was initially asked to submit a short video demonstrating the issue, which I attempted to do. Unfortunately, the app only allows photo uploads, not videos. I have now been asked to provide step-by-step screenshots, which is both time-consuming and impractical given the circumstances. I have already made multiple efforts to report this issue and do not have the capacity to continue troubleshooting on your behalf.
Furthermore, your customer support team has acknowledged on several occasions that this appears to be a technical glitch within the app. Meanwhile, I continue to be charged in full for rides on my credit card, despite having already paid for the package.
Given that this issue has persisted for over five days without resolution, I consider this a failure in service delivery and customer support. As a result, I am formally requesting a full refund of the AED 1,082 paid for the School Rides package, as I will no longer be using this service.
I kindly request that this matter be resolved promptly and that the refund be processed as soon as possible.

Very bad support. They don't speak english, they insult you.
The order is delay by more than 1 hour and instead of refunding me they told me to wait 1 more hour. Who likes to have his food ready for 2 hours before being able to eat it?
Go with deliveroo, or any other platform, but careem is clearly the worst one
